Bodrum Municipality has launched a district-wide programme to improve public parks and provide residents with safer and more functional recreational spaces.

Under new contracts coordinated by the Parks and Gardens Directorate, one new park will be built and 42 existing parks will be renewed across Bodrum. Construction of the new park has begun in Konacık Neighbourhood, while removal and dismantling works are under way at parks scheduled for renovation. Once these initial works are complete, renewal will move ahead with the aim of reopening the parks to the public as quickly as possible.

The programme will replace equipment and facilities that have reached the end of their service life and improve safety, usability and overall park standards. The Parks and Gardens Directorate will continue the renewal programme in line with the municipality’s planned schedule.
