The new Karaova Community Cafe is located in Mumcular Mustafa Kallem Park, in a facility previously operated as a municipal cafe by Bodrum Belediye Inc. The venue has been refurbished to provide an affordable and accessible social meeting point for residents across Mumcular and the wider Karaova area.

The new facility follows the opening of Pınaraltı Community Cafe in Çırkan Neighbourhood in August and is intended particularly to support the social lives of retired residents, while remaining open to people of all ages.

The cafe is set within a park featuring green areas, a decorative pool and a natural pond. Following refurbishment, the venue will include shaded seating areas, rest spaces, a tea service point and a small library area where visitors can read and spend time.

The facility will be operated by Bodrum Belediye AŞ. Final preparation works are being completed by municipal departments, including the Directorate of Public Works, Support Services Directorate, and Parks and Gardens Directorate. Landscaping, ground improvement and kitchen works are also nearing completion ahead of the opening.

Mayor Tamer Mandalinci has invited residents to attend the opening ceremony. Karaova Community Cafe will officially open at 14.30 on Sunday, 11 October 2026 at Mumcular Mustafa Kallem Park.
