Bodrum Municipality continues road surfacing works on streets identified as priorities in Mumcular, Gölbaşı and Gümüşlük.

Directorate of Public Works teams completed hot asphalt works on Yaşar Yılmaz Street and adjoining roads in Karaova Neighbourhood during the first week of October. On Monday, 5 October, teams continued hot asphalt surfacing on Alparslan Street in Mumcular. Construction of a rainwater drainage line is also under way on the same street, with the works expected to be completed shortly. Asphalt laying has also begun on Bağdat Street in Gölbaşı Neighbourhood.

In Gümüşlük, milling works are being carried out ahead of resurfacing along the route from Karakaya Junction to Jandarma Junction, via Kadıhan Market and the cemetery. Hot asphalt will be laid once the milling work is complete. The road preparation and resurfacing programme in Gümüşlük is expected to take around two weeks.

Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Public Works will continue road improvement works across the district in line with its scheduled programme.
