NATURAL DISASTER RESEARCH COMMISSION VISITS BODRUM SEARCH AND RESCUE TEAM

Members of Bodrum Municipality’s Natural Disaster Research Commission visited the Bodrum Municipality Search and Rescue Team (BAK) at its base in Konacık Neighbourhood. The visit was attended by Deputy Mayor Ahmet Yıldızhan and council members Ali Diken, Hüseyin Sağkal and Nevzat Kanber.
During the visit, commission members were briefed on the team’s activities, preparations for disasters and emergencies, the facilities at the base, and the vehicles and equipment used in search and rescue operations.
The delegation also inspected rescue equipment on site and exchanged views with the team on ongoing preparedness and response work. The Bodrum Municipality Search and Rescue Team (BAK) operates under Bodrum Municipality’s Disaster Affairs and Risk Management Directorate. Bodrum Municipality continues to strengthen its disaster preparedness and response capacity through training, equipment investment and coordination activities.
