MUNICIPAL STAFF CONTRIBUTE TO RISK ASSESSMENT PROCESS
30.09.2026
Bodrum Municipality’s Cleaning Affairs Directorate has held a Risk Assessment Workshop as part of the municipality’s wider internal control and risk management programme.
The workshop followed training coordinated by the Financial Services Directorate and applied the methods introduced through the municipality’s Internal Control and Risk Management Training to the day-to-day operations of cleaning services.
A total of 29 employees took part across four working groups, assessing potential risks in areas including urban cleaning, vehicle and equipment management, maintenance and repair, workforce planning, and administrative and financial processes. Participants evaluated existing risks based on their own operational and field experience, while also identifying additional risks that could affect service delivery.
The workshop examined the causes and potential impact of each risk, existing control measures and further action that could be taken. This allowed the experience of drivers, operators, field staff, technical personnel and administrative employees to feed directly into the risk management process.
Participants also expressed support for similar workshops to be held in the future. The findings are expected to contribute to stronger service continuity and help municipal teams identify and address potential problems at an earlier stage.
