PINARALTI COMMUNITY CAFE HOSTS SOCIAL WELLBEING WORKSHOPS

Bodrum Municipality held free social wellbeing and digital literacy workshops at Pınaraltı Community Cafe.
The workshops, organised by the Women and Family Services Directorate, took place on Friday, 28 August and were attended by retired residents. The programme aimed to support social participation, help participants adapt to digital life and contribute to their psychological wellbeing.
In the “Hello to the Digital World” workshop, sociologist Aybüke Öztosun provided basic digital literacy guidance. Participants received practical information on smartphone use, downloading mobile applications, booking hospital appointments online, safe internet shopping and money transfers.
The “Traces of Life” workshop was led by clinical psychologist Seray İlter and focused on psychological wellbeing and shared experience. Participants exchanged memories and life stories in a warm conversation setting.
Gözde Çakıroğlu, Director of Women and Family Services at Bodrum Municipality, said free training sessions and workshops designed to improve residents’ quality of life and support daily living skills would continue periodically.
