BODRUM MUNICIPALITY HOLDS MINI EXHIBITION FOR CHILDREN’S ART WORKSHOP

Bodrum Municipality’s Paint-by-Numbers Canvas Workshop for children has been completed with a mini exhibition at Güvercinlik Social Activity Centre. The workshop was organised by the Women and Family Services Directorate to help children spend the summer period in a creative and productive way.
A total of 19 children aged between seven and nine took part in the six-week programme, which began on 22 July. The workshop ended on 26 August with an exhibition attended by the children and their families. Participants displayed the works they had produced during the programme.
Throughout the workshop, children had the opportunity to make new friends, create together and share their work in a supportive environment. At the end of the event, certificates and commemorative gifts were presented to the young participants by the instructors.
Bodrum Municipality said social activities, art workshops and educational programmes run by the Women and Family Services Directorate would continue at centres across the district throughout the year.
