MAYOR MANDALİNCİ REVIEWS PLANNED PROJECTS IN GÜNDOĞAN

Mayor Tamer Mandalinci carried out the week’s first field visit in Gündoğan Neighbourhood, reviewing planned projects on site.
Mayor Mandalinci was accompanied by deputy mayors, council members, Gündoğan Neighbourhood Head Ali İneci, relevant municipal directors and technical teams.
The delegation first inspected the areas designated for the Gündoğan Marketplace, Social Event Area and Square Project. The existing condition of the sites and the details of the planned works were reviewed in line with local needs.
Another stop on the visit was the former municipal service building. Mayor Mandalinci evaluated plans to transform the building into an active centre for young people and women, with space for education, production and social activities.
Mandalinci said the municipality was working with a field-based approach across Bodrum’s 56 neighbourhoods, taking residents’ views into account when developing local projects.
Mayor Tamer Mandalinci said the planned marketplace, square and social areas, together with the transformation of the former service building, would add value to Gündoğan and support community life.
