Mayor Tamer Mandalinci continued his field visits in Peksimet and Bahçelievler neighbourhoods to review local needs and municipal services on site.
The programme began in Peksimet, where Mayor Mandalinci met Neighbourhood Head Adnan Süzen and received information about requests raised by residents. Mandalinci then inspected a municipally owned site in Kadıkalesi, where a new community cafe for retired residents is planned.
During the visit, Mandalinci also met local businesses and residents, reviewing issues including infrastructure, rainwater drainage, sewerage needs, road arrangements and possible new park areas.
In Bahçelievler, the mayor first visited Neighbourhood Head Fatma Akalan before inspecting a planned library space at Turgutreis Atatürk Square Business Centre. He also reviewed the area around the fishing shelter, Şevket Sabancı Street and nearby locations, listening to residents’ requests.
As part of the programme, Mayor Mandalinci visited Bodrum Coast Guard Station Command and met Captain Ali Murat Mahmat, who was appointed to his new post in August, wishing him success and exchanging views on the area.
Mayor Mandalinci said a planned work schedule would begin after the summer season, based on the needs identified during the visits. The works will be carried out in coordination with Bodrum Municipality’s relevant units and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality.
The field visits were attended by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality District Services 1st Regional Department Head Kadriye Erkal Yıldırım, Bodrum Neighbourhood Heads’ Association Chair Ahmet Cemil Gündüz, deputy mayors, council members and relevant municipal directors.
