PUBLIC TOILETS AND SHARED AREAS CLEANED BY MOBILE TEAM

Bodrum Municipality has set up a Mobile Cleaning Team to respond more quickly to increased use of public areas during the summer season.
The team, established under the Cleaning Affairs Directorate, began work 15 days ago and starts its daily shift at 05.00. It carries out cleaning and washing works at public beaches, public toilets and shared-use areas across the district.
The service covers 33 locations in 18 neighbourhoods. Ten staff members work with three vehicles, including a mobile cleaning vehicle, a washing vehicle and a four-tonne water tanker.
Cleaning works are carried out at public beaches in Kumbahçe, Bitez, Yahşi, Turgutreis, Yalıkavak, Gündoğan and Gölköy, as well as at marketplaces, bus terminals, coastal areas and neighbourhood centres.
High-use areas are cleaned daily, while other locations are covered according to the planned schedule. The works will continue until the end of the summer season to help maintain hygiene standards in public spaces.
