WEED CLEARANCE WORKS CONTINUE TO REDUCE FIRE RISK ACROSS ACROSS BODRUM

Bodrum Municipality continued its planned weed clearance works across the district in July to help reduce fire risk, maintain public spaces and improve the appearance of urban areas.
Teams from the Parks and Gardens Directorate carried out works in parks, green spaces, roadsides and pavements.
In July, 111,801 square metres of green space and 137,875 metres of roads and pavements were cleared.
Over the past three months, municipal teams have cleared weeds from a total of 295,698 square metres of green space and 373,677 metres of roads and pavements across Bodrum.
The works will continue throughout the district in line with the planned programme during the summer season.
