NEW COMMUNITY HOUSE AND BAKERY PROJECT STARTS IN ÇIRKAN

Bodrum Municipality has begun foundation works for the Çırkan Community House and Municipal Bakery project.
The project, located in Çırkan Neighbourhood, will bring together social, educational and daily service functions under one roof. The Community House is planned as a multi-purpose space where residents can meet, study and take part in cultural and social activities.
The 850-square-metre indoor facility will include a library, workshop areas, quiet and group study spaces, and flexible rooms for different activities.
The municipal bakery within the same building will include production, preparation, packaging and sales areas, as well as flour storage, cold storage rooms and staff facilities. It is designed to help provide residents with quality products at accessible prices.
The project also includes landscaping and parking areas. Solar panels to be installed on the roof will support energy efficiency and contribute to a more sustainable building.
Once completed, the Çırkan Community House and Municipal Bakery will provide a new public space for local residents, supporting social life, education, cultural activities and access to daily services.
