SECOND TERM OF AGRICULTURE CAMP COMPLETED IN BODRUM

The second term of Bodrum Municipality’s Agriculture Camp has been completed at Garaova Agriculture Park.

Organised by Bodrum Municipality’s Agricultural Services Directorate, the camp brought young people together with agriculture, production and sustainable living through a programme combining theoretical and practical training.

During the camp, participants experienced different stages of agricultural production, including lavender harvesting in the early hours of the morning. They also received training on sustainable farming, ecological living and rural production culture.

The programme included field visits along the Agro Bodrum route, allowing participants to observe local production areas and learn more about the agricultural potential of the region.

At the end of the camp, certificates were presented to participants at a ceremony attended by Bodrum Municipality Agricultural Services Director Sinem Uyar Kuyumcu.

With the completion of the second term, the Agriculture Camp continues to introduce young people to production, nature and rural life. The third term of the programme will also be held at Garaova Agriculture Park, with further practical training on agriculture, sustainability and local production.
