MUNICIPAL CAFES ATTRACT STRONG INTEREST ACROSS BODRUM

Cafes operated by Bodrum Belediye Inc., the subsidiary company of Bodrum Municipality, have become popular meeting points for residents and visitors during the summer season.

The municipality-run venues continue to serve across 21 locations in Bodrum, including Kumbahçe, Çarşı, Torba, Bitez, Turgutreis, Akyarlar, Yalıkavak, Geriş, Türkbükü, Gümüşlük, Çiftlik, Güvercinlik, Gümbet, Gündoğan, Müskebi and Yahşi.

Bodrum Belediye Inc. General Manager İbrahim Akbaş said discounts offered to Bodrum residents at municipal cafes had been expanded. Under the current scheme, residents receive a 50% discount on tea and a 25% discount on coffee varieties, as well as an additional 10% discount on 48 selected products.

The cafes are operated with an accessible pricing policy and aim to provide clean, safe and comfortable social spaces for people of all ages. Some of the venues along the coast also serve as cafe-beach facilities.

The facilities offer a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks, toast, burgers and other food options at budget-friendly prices. Regular maintenance and hygiene standards are also maintained across the venues.

Bodrum Municipality said it would continue to strengthen shared public spaces and provide accessible services in line with its social municipality approach.
