BODRUM MUNICIPALITY CREATES NEW SOCIAL SPACE FOR RETIRED RESIDENTS

Pınaraltı Retirement Cafe, developed by Bodrum Municipality in Konacık Neighbourhood, is nearing completion and will soon open to residents.
Located at the junction of Başeğmezler Street and Halide Edip Adıvar Avenue, the facility is designed as a new social meeting point where retired residents can come together, relax and spend time in a comfortable setting.
Built on an area of approximately 3,230 square metres, Pınaraltı Retirement Cafe will offer green spaces, shaded seating areas and resting areas. The facility will also include a tea service area and a small library section where residents can read and enjoy their time.
Mayor Tamer Mandalinci inspected the final stage of works at the facility and received information from Belediye Inc. General Manager İbrahim Akbaş on the latest progress.
The final preparations are being completed by the relevant municipal departments. Landscaping works have been carried out by the Parks and Gardens Directorate, while ground arrangements and kitchen installations are also nearing completion.
To be operated by Belediye Inc., Pınaraltı Retirement Cafe aims to support the social life of retired residents and become a new, accessible and nature-friendly public space for Konacık.
