DRAIN CLEANING AND VECTOR CONTROL WORK IN ÇARŞI NEIGHBOURHOOD

Bodrum Municipality and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality have carried out a joint drain-cleaning and vector-control operation in Çarşı neighbourhood.
Municipal senitaiton teams first removed waste and debris from street drains. Vector-control teams then applied treatment to help prevent the breeding of mosquitoes and other pests.
The operation was completed by an 11-person team using three vehicles, including a 6-cubic-metre road sweeper and a mobile response vehicle.
Joint environmental cleaning and public health operations will continue across Bodrum as part of the scheduled programme.
