INSPECTION AND REGULATION WORKS CONTINUE ON SECOND DAY

Inspection and regulation works launched across Bodrum on Tuesday, 7 July by Bodrum Municipality’s Municipal Police Department in cooperation with Bodrum District Police Department continued on the second day in Yalıkavak, Turgutreis and Gündoğan.
The works aim to ensure that public areas are used safely, orderly and in line with their intended purpose.
On the second day, inspections were carried out on Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard, Mehmet Hilmi Street, Beyoğlu Street and Şehit Kenan Aybey Street in Turgutreis. In Yalıkavak, teams worked on Çökertme Street, Şeyhül İslam Ömer Lütfü Street, the area around Koray Yılmaz Business Centre and Tahsildar İbrahim Street. In Gündoğan, regulation works continued on Şehit Uğur Öztop Street, Atatürk Street and along the coastline.
Following warnings, materials left in public areas by businesses were collected by municipal teams and removed to be taken into custody storage.
Warnings were also issued to caravans parked outside designated areas under Article 6, Clause 68 of Bodrum Municipality’s Municipal Police Regulation. Penalties were imposed on some motorcycle users for improper parking and pavement occupation.
Inspection and regulation works will continue across Bodrum throughout the year.
