The first of Bodrum Municipality’s 2026 Youth Agriculture Camps has begun at Garaova Agriculture Park. Organised by the Directorate of Agricultural Services, the camps are being held for the sixth time this year.

During the week-long programme, participants will take part in theoretical and practical training on agriculture, food production, animal husbandry and related fields. Field visits will also give young people the opportunity to observe production processes on site.

The camp aims to introduce participants to Bodrum’s rural values, agro-tourism routes and local production culture, while offering an experience closely connected with nature.

Alongside the training programme, the camp includes social, cultural and sporting activities. Participants will take part in events on Yalıçiftlik beach, a panoramic Bodrum tour and various activities designed to help them explore the district’s natural and cultural richness.

Through the Youth Agriculture Camps, Bodrum Municipality aims to raise awareness among young people of sustainable agriculture, local production and rural life, while helping them strengthen their connection with nature.

The camps will continue throughout the summer with the participation of different groups, offering young people an educational and socially enriching experience.
