MAZI AND PINARLIBELEN TO GAIN MODERN MARKET FACILITIES

Bodrum Municipality continues its work on two marketplace projects in Pınarlıbelen and Mazı neighbourhoods, aiming to provide residents and producers with more modern, organised and functional public spaces.
In Pınarlıbelen, the tender process has been completed for the Marketplace and Social Activity Area project, which will be built under the coordination of Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Public Works. Excavation works have begun ahead of the foundation stage.
The project will be built on a total area of 1,414 square metres and will include a gross construction area of approximately 987.97 square metres. In addition to a 425-square-metre covered marketplace, the facility will include a bridal room, municipal police unit, kitchen area and various social facilities.
Designed as a multi-purpose living space, the facility will serve both as a marketplace and as a venue for social events. Following excavation and ground preparation works, foundation construction will begin. The marketplace is planned to be completed by mid-September.
Works also continue on the Covered Marketplace Project in the Upper Mazı area of Mazı Neighbourhood. Foundation works have been completed, and the project is progressing in line with the planned schedule.
The Mazı project is being developed on a total area of 1,743 square metres. Works completed so far have been carried out by Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Public Works, while the following stages will continue under the directorate’s coordination with the support of philanthropists.
Once completed, the projects will provide producers and residents with more comfortable, orderly and modern marketplace areas.
