BODRUM MUNICIPALITY CONTINUES ROAD IMPROVEMENT WORKS ACROSS THE DISTRICT

Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Public Works continues superstructure works in areas where infrastructure works have been completed across the district.
Over the past month, hot asphalt paving, pavement and kerb works, and environmental improvements have been completed in several neighbourhoods, making roads safer and more comfortable for public use.
In Bitez Neighbourhood, works on Atatürk Boulevard in the neihbourhood centre were completed shortly after infrastructure works carried out by MUSKİ. Following asphalt milling, hot asphalt was laid with a finisher, and the process was completed with road markings carried out by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality’s Traffic Services teams.
In Müskebi Neighbourhood, hot asphalt paving was carried out on 2605 Street, located between Üniversite Street and Bekiroğlu Street. Asphalt renewal works were also completed on Bekiroğlu Street and part of Üniversite Street, improving transport safety and comfort.
In Eskiçeşme Neighbourhood, the first stage of superstructure works on Fırkateyn Street was completed following infrastructure works. With begonite stone paving and environmental arrangements, the street gained a more functional and orderly appearance. Remaining works are planned to continue after the summer season.
Superstructure renewal works have also been completed on Bergamut Street in Bitez and Derviş Görgün Street in Umurca. In Yahşi Neighbourhood, asphalt milling, hot asphalt paving and road marking works were completed on Kargı Street following the replacement of the main transmission line by MUSKİ, while pavement and environmental improvement works are continuing as planned.
Bodrum Municipality will continue superstructure works on streets and roads where infrastructure has been completed, in line with its planned programme, with the aim of creating safer, more comfortable and more modern transport infrastructure across the district.
