WELCOME BABY PROJECT CONTINUES

Bodrum Municipality continues to visit families with newborn babies as part of the Welcome Baby Project, which has been carried out for the past seven years.
Teams from the Field Solution and Coordination Centre, operating under Bodrum Municipality’s Press, Publication and Public Relations Directorate, visit families who have recently welcomed a baby and share in their happiness.
Since January 2026, a total of 245 babies have been visited as part of the project. During the visits, families are presented with gift sets containing essential items for newborn babies.
The teams will continue their visits across the Bodrum Peninsula in line with applications received.
Commenting on the project, Mayor Tamer Mandalinci said:
“As part of the Welcome Baby Project, newborn babies and their families are visited by the municipality. Through these visits, the joy and excitement of families are shared, while also providing a contribution to household budgets. Work will continue in line with the municipality’s social municipalism approach.”
