A FATHER’S DAY MESSAGE OF RESPECT AND GRATITUDE FROM MAYOR MANDALİNCİ

Mayor Tamer Mandalinci issued a message to mark Father’s Day.

In his Father’s Day message, Mayor Tamer Mandalinci said:

“The journey of a child’s growth is shaped by love, effort, patience and solidarity. Fathers, who stand by their children at every stage of life, listen to them, support them and give them strength, are among the most important parts of this journey.

Fatherhood is a profound responsibility that is embraced anew every day. Holding a child’s hand and instilling a sense of trust, standing by them when they fall, taking pride in their achievements, giving them courage in moments of disappointment and supporting them throughout every stage of life all require great dedication.

The family, as one of the strongest foundations of society, is sustained through mutual love, respect and solidarity. Within this solidarity, the efforts of mothers and fathers complement one another and form a valuable whole that builds the future together. Fathers play an important role in helping our children grow into happier, more self-confident and more hopeful individuals.

Today is a day to thank all fathers who work, strive and make sacrifices for the future of their children, and who do their utmost to ensure that they have a good life. Fathers who see the happiness of their children as their own, who take pride in their achievements and who stand beside them whenever they are needed are among the finest examples of love, responsibility and solidarity.

Father’s Day is also a day to remember the fathers who are no longer with us and to honour them with love. I remember with respect, mercy and longing all fathers who have left a lasting mark on our lives, who have illuminated our path with their values and whose guidance has helped shape who we are today.

On this meaningful day, I sincerely celebrate Father’s Day for all fathers who guide their children with love and work devotedly for their families, especially the fathers in the precious families of our martyrs, who are entrusted to us, and our veterans.

I wish them many more beautiful days filled with health, peace and happiness together with their loved ones, and I extend my gratitude and respect to all fathers who strengthen our families and add value to our lives.”
