03.06.2026
Teams from Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Parks and Gardens are continuing grass-cutting and environmental maintenance works across the district, following the programme launched in May.
The works are being carried out to reduce fire risk, improve environmental cleanliness and protect the town’s appearance. Teams are working intensively in parks, green spaces, roadsides, central reservations, junctions and other public areas.
During May, grass-cutting was completed across 96,731 square metres, while maintenance and cleaning works were carried out along 51,241 metres of roads and pavements. In the first days of June, a further 7,987 square metres of grass-cutting and 15,659 metres of roadside and pavement cleaning and maintenance were completed.
Since the start of the programme, municipal teams have carried out grass-cutting across a total of 104,718 square metres and completed maintenance, trimming and cleaning works along 66,900 metres of roads and pavements.
The works have so far covered 276 different locations across 28 neighbourhoods, including streets, central reservations, junctions, parks, green spaces and other public areas.
Bodrum Municipality said the programme would continue in line with the planned schedule in order to provide residents with cleaner, safer and better maintained shared public spaces.
