Teams from Bodrum Municipality’s Health Services Unit visited bedridden patients in their homes across the peninsula ahead of Eid al-Adha.

During the visits, carried out under the Directorate of Culture, Arts and Social Affairs, teams listened to the needs of patients and their families and reviewed the medical support provided by the municipality, including hospital beds, alternating-pressure mattresses, wheelchairs and similar equipment. The operation of the municipality’s ambulance service for hospital transfers was also discussed with families.

The visits were intended both to assess ongoing support and to offer encouragement to residents undergoing difficult treatment processes. Municipal teams also conveyed Eid greetings to patients and their relatives.

In a statement, Mayor Tamer Mandalinci said Bodrum Municipality would continue to stand by residents who are unable to leave their homes because of serious health conditions, through medical, logistical and psychosocial support services.
