BODRUM MUNICIPALITY RECEIVES REFUSE COLLECTION VEHICLE FROM NATIONAL MUNICIPAL UNION

Bodrum Municipality has received a new service vehicle grant from the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB) to help strengthen its service capacity.

The vehicle was presented during a vehicle handover ceremony held by the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye at the Çankaya Municipality Campus in Ankara, where a number of municipalities, including Bodrum, received new service vehicles. The ceremony was attended by TBB Acting President and Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Vahap Seçer, members of the union’s executive body, and the mayors of the municipalities receiving vehicle grants.

As part of the union’s municipal support programme, one 8-cubic-metre refuse collection lorry was granted to Bodrum Municipality and added to the municipal inventory for use in cleaning services.

Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, who personally attended the ceremony in Ankara to receive the vehicle, said the grant would help improve both the quality of services provided to residents and the municipality’s operational equipment. He also highlighted the importance TBB places on solidarity between public institutions and thanked Vahap Seçer, the union’s executive body and all member municipalities.

Following the completion of official procedures in Ankara, the new vehicle will join the fleet of Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Cleaning Services and be put into service for the people of Bodrum.
