MUNICIPAL SUPPORT BRINGS NEARLY TRY 5 MILLION TO BODRUM MANDARIN PRODUCERS
08.04.2026
Bodrum Municipality has continued its support for local agriculture, generating nearly TRY 5 million for 103 producers of green and orange Bodrum mandarins during the 2025–2026 production season.
The work was carried out in cooperation between the municipality’s company and the Directorate of Agricultural Services. The municipality said the scheme had supported both producer incomes and sustainable local production.
As part of the programme, Bodrum mandarins are being promoted more widely in Türkiye and abroad, while efforts are also under way to expand their use in gastronomy and value-added production through professional partnerships.
Bodrum Municipality said it would continue supporting local producers and promoting the district’s agricultural heritage in the period ahead.
Linking Producers & Consumers
Bodrum Municipality has also made the Bodrum Local Product website available to the public in order to give greater visibility to local goods and support producers across the district.
Designed as a digital guide for local production, the platform helps build a stronger and more sustainable connection between producers and both residents of Bodrum and visitors from around the world. Through the site, users can access producer contact details, review product portfolios and apply as a producer.
