SOCIAL SUPPORT CARDS REACH 1,030 HOUSEHOLDS DURING RAMADAN IN BODRUM

Bodrum Municipality has continued to provide assistance to residents during Ramadan through its Social Services Office, which operates peninsula-wide under the Directorate of Culture, Arts and Social Affairs.

As part of the municipality’s social support work, social support cards were delivered to 1,030 households across the city during Ramadan.

The cards can be used at participating supermarkets across the peninsula and are issued to families found to be in need following applications submitted to the Social Services Office and subsequent assessments.

Municipal teams also carry out home visits to low-income families identified through socio-economic evaluations in order to assess needs on site. Residents can use the social support cards to meet essential needs, excluding alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.

Bodrum Municipality stated it will continue to stand by residents in need throughout 2026.
