MAYOR MANDALİNCİ JOINS MUNICIPAL CLEANING TEAMS AT EARLY-MORNING SUHOOR PROGRAMME

Mayor Tamer Mandalinci attended a suhoor programme organised by the municipality’s Directorate of Cleaning Services and met with municipal staff ahead of the start of their shift.
The programme was held at the Directorate of Cleaning Services’ operations depot in Konacık neighbourhood. Mayor Mandalinci was joined by deputy mayors, department directors and Ahmet Cemil Gündüz, President of the Bodrum Association of Neighbourhood Heads. During the gathering, he greeted staff individually and wished them ease in their work.
In his remarks after the meal, Mayor Mandalinci thanked the teams for their commitment and underlined the importance of their role in keeping Bodrum and its surroundings clean. He said municipal staff worked tirelessly in the field day and night, without regard to fixed working hours, and described their contribution as highly valuable.
He also said Bodrum Municipality would continue working to improve staff working conditions and strengthen municipal services by increasing both equipment and the number of personnel in the field in order to help ease the workload.
Mayor Mandalinci further told staff that the municipality would do its best to stand by them in the event of any personal, family, financial or other difficulties, and encouraged them to raise such matters with their supervisors, directors, deputy mayors or the municipal administration.
Following the mayor’s address, the teams left for their assigned areas and began their duties.
