DISTRICT-WIDE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS CARRIED OUT ACROSS BODRUM

Bodrum Municipality teams continue maintenance and repair work across the district, coordinated by the Support Services Directorate, to improve safety and comfort in shared public areas.
Skilled teams covering joinery, metalwork, painting and decorating, electrical works and plumbing respond to requests from residents, neighbourhood head offices and public bodies, as well as issues identified during inspections.
Recent works included maintenance and repairs at the market place in the Çırkan neighbourhood and in the toilets at the Ortakent Health Cabin. In cooperation with the Public Works Directorate, roadside drainage grates on Neyzen Tevfik Caddesi were repaired, and necessary works were completed on the roof of the Bodrum Market Place. In the Mumcular neighbourhood, fencing at a local five-a-side football pitch was also repaired.
The Electrical Works Unit carried out lighting works at the Konacık Kaan Ali Danaş Children’s Park, the Bodrum Cruise Port area on İskele Caddesi, Mars Mabedi Caddesi in the Türkkuyusu neighbourhood, and 3148 Sokak in the Eskiçeşme neighbourhood. Floodlights in the garage area in the Ortakent neighbourhood were also replaced.
As part of ongoing support to schools across the district, works including fencing, painting and decorating, roof repairs and the manufacture of garden gates are being delivered under a planned programme. The Workshops Unit continues production for use in municipal services.
Municipal officials said the work will continue in a planned manner, with a focus on the effective and efficient use of public resources and improving residents’ quality of life.
