BODRUM MUNICIPALITY CARRIES OUT RAMADAN CLEANING PROGRAMME IN DISTRICT MOSQUES

Bodrum Municipality’s Cleaning Services teams are carrying out detailed cleaning work in mosques across the district during Ramadan.
The municipality continues cleaning and disinfection work in mosques throughout Bodrum without interruption. The programme began in mosques in Turgutreis and Akyarlar neighbourhoods, and continues in other neighbourhoods in line with the planned schedule.
The work, which will continue throughout Ramadan, covers mosque interiors, courtyards, ablution areas, toilets and all outdoor spaces. Where needed, teams also use a carpet-washing machine to clean mosque carpets. Once cleaning is completed, the spaces are prepared for use.
Bodrum Municipality said the work will continue throughout Ramadan to support residents in using cleaner and more hygienic environments.
Mayor Tamer Mandalinci said municipal teams are maintaining the work across the district on a 24/7 basis. He added that cleaning and disinfection activities are being carried out so residents can worship with peace of mind during Ramadan, and that teams will continue their work for residents’ wellbeing.
