BODRUM MUNICIPALITY’S NEIGHBOURHOOD IFTAR PROGRAMME BEGINS

Bodrum Municipality’s annual neighbourhood iftaar programme is set to begin, bringing residents together to break the fast during Ramadan. The first event will take place on Thursday, 19 February in the Türkbükü neighbourhood.
Organised by the Municipality’s Culture, Arts and Social Affairs Directorate, an iftar table will be set in a different neighbourhood each day throughout Ramadan, with thousands of local residents expected to attend. The first neighbourhood iftar will be held next to Türkbükü Cafe in the Türkbükü neighbourhood.
Mayor Tamer Mandalinci said the programme aims to combine the spirit of sharing at the heart of Ramadan with the close-knit character of Bodrum’s neighbourhoods. He invited residents to attend the first iftar table on Thursday, 19 February, and extended his best wishes for Ramadan.
