BODRUM MUNICIPALITY ADVANCES MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR WORKS IN SCHOOLS

Bodrum Municipality continues extensive maintenance and improvement works to enhance educational environments in schools across Bodrum.


Carried out by the Workshops Unit of the Directorate of Support Services, the programme responds to requests received from schools under the District Directorate of National Education, with the aim of providing students with safer, cleaner and better-equipped learning spaces.

Maintenance teams worked throughout the half-term break, completing repairs and improvement tasks at several institutions including Konacık Cahit Özvezneci Primary School, Müskebi Special Children Culture, Arts and Life Centre, Bodrum Turgut Reis Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Merkez Turgut Reis Secondary School and Turgutreis Akçaalan Recai Ahmet Ersan Secondary School.

The works included the installation of new safety railings, roof repairs and insulation, plumbing fixes and repairs to doors and windows. School grounds were cleared of shrubs, weeds and waste, with landscaping and environmental tidying completed. Teams also carried out minor electrical renewals, repainted playground areas and delivered benches and picnic tables based on incoming requests.

Meanwhile, the Directorate of Public Works has begun paving works in the courtyard of Merkez Turgut Reis Secondary School.

Municipal officials stated that the programme aims to support educational institutions by ensuring students can learn in improved and well-maintained environments.
