THREE GENERATIONS COME TOGETHER AT CANDLE PAINTING WORKSHOP

Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Women and Family Services organised a free Candle Painting Workshop for families during the half-term break. Held at the Nazım Hikmet Library in Umurça Park, the event brought together children aged 7–9, their parents and older family members.
Participants created original candle designs using colourful paints and glitter, spending the day producing and enjoying quality time together. Parents and children said they were pleased to take part in a free, family-focused activity and thanked Bodrum Municipality and the Directorate.
The directorate stated that similar workshops will continue in the coming days in Bodrum centre and other neighbourhoods, with activities also taking place at the Umurça Library, Peksimet Public Library and libraries in Yalıkavak and Turgutreis (Akçaalan Library).
