BODRUM MUNICIPALITY VISITS BABY EYLÜL, THE TOWN’S FIRST BIRTH OF 2026

Bodrum Municipality has visited baby Eylül and her family after she was born in Bodrum in the first hours of 2026, marking the town’s first recorded birth of the new year.
Teams from the municipality’s Field Solutions and Coordination Centre, operating under the Directorate of Media and Public Relations, visited the family at home as part of the “Welcome Baby” (Hoş Geldin Bebek)programme. The family received congratulations on behalf of Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, along with a baby-care set containing essential items for newborns.
The family thanked municipal teams for the visit and said they appreciated the support on a meaningful day.
Mayor Mandalinci said the programme has been implemented across the district with care and consistency, adding that the municipality visited 575 babies in 2025. He said the service will continue in 2026, with the municipality aiming to support families and extend a sense of community solidarity.
