26.12.2025
Bodrum Municipality’s Health Services Office, operating under the Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs, continues to provide medical support across the peninsula for patients, people with disabilities, wheelchair users and residents who are bed-bound.
Based at its centre in the Ortakent neighbourhood and guided by the municipality’s social-care approach, the Health Services Office carries out a broad range of services. These include prescription-based injections, wound and burn dressings, and routine checks such as blood pressure, blood sugar, body temperature and respiration monitoring, alongside other medical procedures.
Wide Range of Services
The Health Services Office also provides transport and transfer support for residents who are unable to reach hospital by their own means, who need to return home after completing treatment, or who are bed-bound, have disabilities, or require a wheelchair. This service is delivered using a fleet of two ambulances, two disabled patient transfer vehicles and one patient transfer vehicle.
In 2025, the service carried out 620 ambulance transfers and 1,235 disabled patient transfer vehicle trips. Over the same period, medical procedures were provided to 3,850 patients, and hygiene inspections were conducted at 420 sanitary establishments.
