BODRUM’S CULTURAL AND NATURE WALKS HEAD TO YALIKAVAK’S KÜDÜR PENINSULA

Bodrum Municipality continues its Cultural and Nature Walks programme with a new route through the Küdür Peninsula in Yalıkavak. The event is organised by the Pedasa and Leleg Civilisations Research and Application Unit under the Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs.
The walk, held under the slogan “Discover Archaeology, Experience Culture, Share Your Story”, will take place on Sunday, 14 December, offering participants the chance to explore the historical and cultural heritage of the Küdür Peninsula while enjoying a nature-filled trekking experience.
Designed to promote cultural and historical awareness, introduce the region’s natural flora and offer residents an accessible outdoor activity, the event is free of charge. Participants will gather at Alacain Public Beach, with a municipal shuttle departing from Yalıkavak Bus Terminal at 10:30 for those using public transport.
Following the walk, participants will enjoy a communal picnic. The municipality recommends bringing light snacks, picnic supplies and a folding chair.
