BODRUM MUNICIPALITY SUPPORTS DISABLED RESIDENTS WITH ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIRS AND REPAIRS

Bodrum Municipality continues to support residents with special needs through the Social Services Office. The unit provides electric wheelchairs, along with maintenance and repair services, to eligible citizens across the peninsula.
Social Services teams carry out on-site social assessments for residents who apply for assistance. Citizens found to meet the required criteria receive electric wheelchairs tailored to their needs, as well as repair, maintenance, modification and technical support services.
“Barriers Decrease When Shared”
In addition to municipal assistance, electric and manual wheelchairs donated by residents are also distributed to those in need. The initiative aims to ease daily life for disabled citizens and strengthen community support and solidarity.
Municipal officials encouraged individuals wishing to contribute or to request support to contact the Social Services Office of the Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs.
