Bodrum Municipality’s inspection teams continue monitoring bakeries and pastry shops to ensure food safety and hygiene standards across the district
The Municipal Police Department (Zabıta) continues its inspections of businesses producing and selling bakery products to protect public health and consumer safety.
Between 6–20 October, officers carried out inspections of bakeries, patisseries, pastry shops and dessert producers, focusing on food hygiene, safety and weight compliance.
130 Businesses Inspected, 31 Penalised
A total of 130 establishments were inspected, with 31 businesses facing administrative action due to violations related to pricing, hygiene, cleanliness or weight standards. Cases were referred to the municipal disciplinary committee under the relevant legal provisions.
Bodrum Municipal Police (Zabıta) Department stated that inspections will continue without interruption to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and to safeguard public health throughout the district.
