MAYOR MANDALİNCİ CONTINUES FIELD VISITS & MEETINGS WITH SHOPKEEPERS

Mayor Tamer Mandalinci continued his on-site inspections and meetings with tradespeople across the city, visiting Cumhuriyet Street, known locally as Barlar Sokağı (Bars Street)

After attending the opening of the 1st Bodrum Boat Show, Mayor Mandalinci toured local businesses along Cumhuriyet Street, listening to the concerns and suggestions of shopkeepers. Issues raised during the visit were referred directly to the relevant deputy mayors for evaluation and follow-up.

Starting at Barış Square and concluding at Azmakbaşı, Mayor Mandalinci later attended the Bodrum Association of Tradesmen and Businesspersons (BESİAD)’s traditional members’ gathering and the first-year anniversary celebration of its 14th Executive Board, titled “Farewell to Summer Party”.

Mayor Mandalinci: “We Stand with Tradespeople and Business Community”

In his remarks at the event, Mayor Mandalinci praised BESİAD’s contribution to Bodrum’s economic and social life, stating:

“As Bodrum Municipality, we have always stood by thre shopkeeprs and local business owners, and shall continue to do so. Some of our recent decisions may have raised concerns, but every one of them has been reviewed together with BESİAD, the Chamber of Tradesmen and Artisans, and the Chamber of Commerce (BODTO). Our goal is always to find the most balanced and beneficial way forward. Bodrum Municipality acts not despite its citizens, but together with them. My colleagues and I remain committed to this principle. I congratulate President Elvan and the Board on their first year and wish them continued success.”

Breakfast Meeting with Taxi Drivers

Mayor Mandalinci also met with taxi drivers over breakfast at the newly renovated Turgutreis Central Taxi Station.

The event was attended by Bodrum Chamber of Commerce President Mahmut Serdar Kocadon, Bodrum Drivers & Automobile Tradesmen’s Chamber President Hasan Kablı, Bahçelievler Neighbourhood Head Fatma Akalın, deputy mayors and municipal council members.

Following the breakfast, Mayor Mandalinci visited the Turgutreis Municipal Police Department (Turgutreis Zabıta), as well as the newly renovated Turgutreis and Bahçelievler Neighbourhood (muhtarlık) Offices located in Atatürk Square. The visit concluded with an inspection of the square and surrounding areas, where Mayor Mandalinci wished local business owners a successful season.
