Bodrum Municipality is carrying out extensive surface renewal across the peninsula, following the completion of major infrastructure projects.

Road and Pavement Works in 56 Neighbourhoods

Teams from the Municipality’s Directorate of Public Works are progressing with the 2025 Road and Pavement Tender Programme, which covers 56 neighbourhoods across the Bodrum Peninsula. In 2025 alone, the Municipality has already completed 18,000 square metres of concrete road and 25,000 square metres of paving works.

Progress in Kızılağaç Neighbourhood

During a recent inspection, Okan Koban, Director of Public Works, noted that in Kızılağaç Neighbourhood’s Toplar Street and adjoining roads, approximately 4,500 square metres of paving and kerb works are now nearing completion. He confirmed that surface works will continue across all roads where infrastructure has already been completed, in line with the Municipality’s scheduled programme.

Safer and More Comfortable Roads

Through its ongoing road construction and maintenance efforts, Bodrum Municipality aims to deliver safer, more accessible and more comfortable transport routes for residents and visitors alike.

The Municipality has pledged to maintain this momentum throughout 2025, ensuring that surface renewal works proceed without interruption and according to plan.
