SMART SAVINGS: BODRUM BUILDS ITS OWN URBAN FURNITURE

Bodrum Municipality continues to produce urban furniture in its own workshops, delivering cost-effective and timely solutions for public spaces across the district.
Under the coordination of the Directorate of Support Services, the municipality’s carpentry, metalwork and painting workshops are manufacturing a wide range of urban furniture, such as benches, litter bins, fences, and planters, to meet the needs of public parks, squares and landscaped areas. These efforts also respond to requests received from local residents.
New Additions, Broader Impact
The list of in-house produced items has recently expanded to include additional park and urban furniture. The municipality also supplies furnishings for public service buildings, local administrative offices (muhtarlık) and educational institutions.
By handling production internally, the municipality not only reduces costs but also ensures rapid response to local needs, improving service efficiency and sustainability.
The municipality announced that these production efforts will continue according to the existing strategic plan.
