BODRUM CITY THEATRE WINS “BEST POSTER DESİGN OF THE YEAR” AWARD

Bodrum Municipality City Theatre has claimed a notable victory at the 6th Ege Theatre Union Özdemir Nutku Theatre Awards, held in İzmir on June 26. Graphic and set designer Serkan Aktü was awarded “Best Poster Design of the Year” for his striking and original artwork created for the play “Çiçu”.
Previously announced as a nominee in May, Aktü’s creative work earned widespread recognition for its originality and visual impact. The award marks a meaningful achievement not only for the artist himself but also for the Bodrum Municipality City Theatre’s continued commitment to excellence in both performance and design.
In a statement from the theatre, the company congratulated the artist: “We proudly congratulate our artist Serkan Aktü for this valuable award and wish him continued success.”.
