SHARE, DON’T TOSS/Bodrum’s “Atma-Paylaş” Project Delivers Support to Dozens of Families
Bodrum Municipality continues to promote social solidarity through its ongoing “Atma–Paylaş” (SHARE, DON’T TOSS!) project. Managed by the Social Services Bureau under the Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs, the initiative has supported 47 households with 136 donated items during the first half of 2025.
The program encourages residents to donate usable furniture, appliances, and household items instead of discarding them. These contributions are then distributed to families in need, following a careful review of applications through home visits and socio-economic evaluations by municipal teams.
Most of the delivered items include furniture, kitchenware and electronic devices, ensuring that excess belongings find new purpose in homes where they are truly needed.

With “SHARE, DON’T TOSS!” (Atma–Paylaş) Bodrum is setting an example in sustainable giving and compassionate community engagement.
