A FUTURE BEGINS: BODRUM PRESCHOOLERS CELEBRATE GRADUATION WITH SONG & SMILES

On June 19, the year-end performance and graduation ceremony for students of Bodrum Municipality’s preschools was held at Nurol Cultural Center with broad participation from families, educators and local officials.
The ceremony honored the 2024–2025 graduates of three institutions operated by Bodrum Municipality Inc.: Private Bodrum Lale-Süreyya Turgut Preschool, Private Bodrum Yüzüncü Yıl Cumhuriyet Preschool and Private Bodrum Konacık Preschool. Ninety five-year-old students performed on stage, showcasing a year-end show that was warmly received by the audience.
Representing Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, General Coordinator Emel Çakaloğlu attended the event alongside Bodrum Gıda Inc. General Manager İbrahim Akbaş, preschool teachers and families.
In her speech, Preschool Coordinator Deniz Delibaş Turgay emphasized the shared vision of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Bodrum Municipality in ensuring equitable and joyful beginnings for every child. “Bodrum is more than a place, it is a spirit!”, she said, adding that the city awakens each morning with the voices of children and flourishes with unity, love and knowledge.
General Coordinator Emel Çakaloğlu underlined their commitment to social responsibility, stating, “If we have managed to contribute even slightly to the lives of these children, we consider it an honor. Watching the seeds we planted blossom into young saplings fills us with pride.”.
Çakaloğlu also extended heartfelt thanks to all the educators and staff who worked tirelessly to support the children’s growth and wished the young graduates continued happiness and success throughout their educational journeys.
