As the Eid al-Adha holiday approaches, Bodrum Municipality has intensified its field operations across the peninsula, focusing on cleanliness, pruning and environmental maintenance to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for both residents and visitors.

Coordinated efforts are being led by the municipality’s departments of Parks & Recreational Ares, Cleaning Services and Funeral Services, covering all corners of Bodrum in preparation for the holiday. The operations aim to maintain both urban aesthetics and environmental hygiene.

Works Begin Before Sunrise

Municipal teams have been deployed across 56 neighborhoods, from Bodrum city center to Garova and from Yalıkavak to Turgutreis. One of the most recent operations began at 04:30 on Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard and Gaz Deresi Street in the Konacık district, where 85 municipal workers took part in the cleanup and landscaping activities.

Mayor Mandalinci emphasized the importance of the ongoing efforts, stating:

“As we prepare for Eid al-Adha, municipal teams are working tirelessly day and night to ensure Bodrum is clean, orderly and welcoming. This is not a one-time initiative but part of our year-round commitment to sustainable environmental management. We are determined to make Bodrum a greener, more livable and visually appealing city. I thank all the team members for their dedication.”
