In his ongoing efforts to identify local issues firsthand and ensure rapid solutions, Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci visited the Kumbahçe neighborhood this week as part of his regular fieldwork initiatives.

Joined by deputy mayors, municipal council members, department heads, and Kumbahçe’s neighborhood representative Zehra Bilgin, Mayor Mandalinci began his walk-through at the Paşatarlası area. The visit included key stops at Kumbahçe Public Beach, the Halikarnas Pier, Kumbahçe Square, and Cumhuriyet Street, extending all the way to Azmakbaşı.

During the tour, Mayor Mandalinci engaged in open conversations with residents and local business owners, listening to their concerns, suggestions, and requests. He promptly relayed these matters to his team, urging immediate action to address the needs raised during the visit.

Highlighting the municipality’s commitment to positive discrimination in favor of women and children, the Mayor responded instantly to requests from young residents. He issued on-the-spot instructions to the relevant departments to improve park facilities and install football goals at a local school.

Mayor Mandalinci also took a moment to wish local shopkeepers a successful summer season, adding that as the holiday period approaches, he plans to intensify his field visits across the district.
