Born in Bodrum in 1993, İdil Ekmekci completed her early education in Bodrum and graduated from Ortaklar Anatolian Teacher Training High School. She went on to study law at Marmara University, graduating from the Faculty of Law in 2016.

After completing her legal traineeship, Ekmekci established her own law practice in Bodrum, where she continues to work as a self-employed lawyer. Her professional experience covers a range of legal fields, including commercial, administrative, employment and civil law.

Ekmekci was elected to Bodrum Municipal Council in the 2024 local elections. Since taking office, she has served as Clerk to the Municipal Council and as a member of both the Municipal Executive Committee and the Legal Affairs Committee.
