İlknur ÜLKÜM SEFEROĞLU, Deputy Mayor of Bodrum
Born in 1976 in İzmir to a family from Bodrum, İlknur ÜLKÜM SEFEROĞLU completed her secondary education at Nazilli Anatolian High School and later graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law.
Following the local elections on March 31, 2019, she was elected as a member of both the Bodrum Municipality Council and the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Council. While practicing as a registered attorney and mediator under the Muğla Bar Association in Bodrum, she was appointed Deputy Mayor of Bodrum Municipality on September 6, 2021. After being re-elected in the local elections on March 31, 2024, she was reappointed as Deputy Mayor on April 22, 2024.
In addition to her municipal responsibilities, she has served as a representative of the Republican People's Party (CHP) on the District Electoral Board and has been a member of the Advisory Board for Young Entrepreneurs at the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce. She is fluent in English, married and a mother of two.
