ONGOING EFFORTS TO COMBAT UNAUTHORIZED CONSTRUCTIONS
The fight against unauthorized constructions continues. As part of the 'Campaign Against Unauthorized Constructions' initiated in April 2019, we have sealed 6,765 structures to date. The Municipal Building Control Department teams, tirelessly working within the legal framework, have demolished 962 unauthorized constructions since April 2019, with an additional 2,768 structures scheduled for demolition.
Throughout the district, 6,765 structures have undergone the sealing process. In October 2023, 14 demolitions were carried out, and demolition orders were issued for 71 unauthorized structures. Furthermore, 115 buildings, non-compliant with zoning laws and lacking permits, were sealed. In accordance with relevant legal regulations, fines totaling 26,149,015 Turkish Lira were imposed in October.
