ADORNING THE ISLANDS AND COVES OF BODRUM WITH TURKISH FLAGS

The municipal teams initiated a flagging campaign by installing flagpoles and hoisting Turkish flags at coves and islands as part of the upcoming August 30th Victory Day and the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye celebrations.

The municipal teams installed flagpoles and raised Turkish flags at islands off the coast of Bodrum and picturesque coves. Yassı Island, Adaboğazı (Akvaryum Cove), Adaboğazı Cape, Çelebi Island, Haremtan Cove and Karaada (Black Island) were among the locations where flagpoles were erected and Turkish flags were raised.

In Addition, Yassı Island, Karaada Fener Cape and Karaada Yarlı Cove received flagpoles and Turkish flags flown proudly. In the upcoming days, Bodrum Municipality will continue the planned efforts to install flagpoles and raise Turkish flags at other identified coves and islands, including Kargıcak Cove, Kargı Island, Orak Island, Pabuç Cape, Kissebükü Cove, Çatal Island, Çiftlik Eşek Island, Kızılburun Cape, Sarnıçlı Cove, Mazı Köpek Taşları area and more.
